A Great Album, Rihanna keeps pumping out the great music!

By now, almost everyone knows who Rihanna is. She has become a worldwide superstar in just a few years. Year after year she just pumps out songs that will get drilled into your head and before you know it you'll be singing along. Rihanna is here to stay, and is that a good or bad thing?
Album Picks:

Umbrella (10/10): And infectious song that had the world chanting "ella ella ella, eh eh eh." The heavy drums in the background coupled with Rihanna's ability to get it stuck in your head will either make you hate it or love it. It's a quality song, about staying faithful even through the worst of times. Beautiful!

Don't Stop The Music (9/10): No matter what, this song will make you dance. There is no meaning in the lyrics and it borrows from Micheal Jackson but that doesn't mean it's bad. One of the best songs on the album, and perfect for dancing.
Breakin' Dishes (8/10): A good song with a powerful beat. Rihanna is angry and while this isn't too convincing, it is still great! "I'mm fight a man tonight!"

Shut Up And Drive (8/10): The second song off the album, it borrows from "Blue Monday" and it is sounds great. The sexual meaning behind it and Rihanna's voice works flawlessly.

Disturbia (10/10): As pop as pop gets. The dark meaning and the synthesizer are perfect. An infectious song and great on the dance floor.

Good Girl Gone Bad (9/10): Surprisingly great, not what you'd expect. It's not about Rihanna becoming a bad girl but it's about a man mistreating a woman and she becomes bad.

Overall a great album and worth a purchase.

Rihanna's crowning achievement!!

Despite all that this woman is going through this album is by far her best album and maybe the best pop/ R&B album out there. Most of the songs on this album get a lot of radio play. You can listen to this whole album and not skip a song save for maybe 1 or 2. That's money well spent.

For its time it's pretty good!

I really liked the production quality on this album. When I first heard please don't stop the music, I thought it was hot. It's got killer beats, great singing, and the video was intersting to watch. I'm not a rihanna fan,but I will say that most of this music is pretty decent. I thought Disturbia video was trying to push her into more of an edgyness. But the song sucked! Umbrella was pretty good and catchy, I liked it! Take A bow(she calls that a ballad, I never liked that song!). Rehab was pretty good when it came out. The songs beats were not too over the top, and the song seemed very well controlled. Shut up and Drive kind of have to get into. I loved If i never see your face again(but thats a maroon 5 song not hers). I'm really not giving her much credit because they could have sang that by themselves and it still would have sounded nice. I think this def. going to be her peak album. it's going to be hard to reduplicate all the hit singles on this cd. It's been a hit cd for like 2-3 years now. Plus half the songs are hits. I don't really think she's going to stay around for long, but that's what i said after her first hit song.....
